Becoming an APMG International ATO demonstrates a commitment to providing your customers with the highest standards of training in support of our qualification schemes, including APMG’s Public-Private Partnerships Certification Program.
Gaining Accreditation
In order to be eligible for accreditation, an organisation and their trainer(s) must meet and continue to meet the APMG eligibility requirements.
Our assessments focus on the vital processes and resources that an organization requires in order to administer and deliver quality accredited training courses, from candidate enrolment procedures to the trainers delivering course content.
The process to become an ATO is made up of three separate assessments:
■ Assessment of the organization’s management systems and processes for administering and delivering training courses and examinations;
■ Review of course materials (traditional tutor-led classroom courses, online/distance learning and blended solutions) used to prepare candidates for certification
■ Certification of trainers who will deliver accredited courses on behalf of the organization.
These processes are developed and managed in accordance with a robust quality management system accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
Once accreditation is awarded the organisation is added to our online, searchable list of ATOs.
ATO accreditation is valid for five years and surveillance and monitoring activities are applicable throughout the accreditation period. Find out more about gaining APMG accreditation here.
